BBC One audiences can use the BBC One Christmas app to share their Christmas messages with their friends, send a message to the entire nation on BBC television, as well as build their a personalised schedule of must-watch programmes over the festive period.
Live events in early December included an architectural projection mapping light show on Television Centre, presented by arts collective Seeper on 11 December, giving viewers a teaser of what’s in-store for BBC viewers this Christmas. One thing you can never fully account for is the weather and in typical UK fashion The One Show’s beautiful Christmas projection on the front of Television Centre was affected by a sudden influx of fog which meant it was at about 90% of its full strength. Luckily BBC managed to capture this dress rehearsal the night before. Click on the image below to play the video in YouTube (HD)
