Avis Car Rental has launched “It’s Your Space”, an integrated marketing campaign with a new tagline replacing the phrase “We Try Harder”. The campaign aims at redefining and elevating the role of the rental car within corporate travelers’ busy lives, looking at ways business professionals use the space inside the rental vehicle to be productive and recharge when traveling. The USA campaign includes three national TV commercials, Rock Out, Bizcation and Deal Closer.
“Rock Out” features a business professional practicing his upcoming presentation by singing the words out loud while he’s driving to the meeting. “BizcationTM” highlights a business professional having a challenging day on the job and the relaxation he feels as he jumps into his rental car to enjoy a mini-vacation with his family after the work is done. “Deal Closer” shows a group of co-workers utilizing their rental vehicle to prepare and “get psyched” for an important meeting and celebrating their success on the gold course. The It’s Your Space campaign was developed at Leo Burnett Business by creative directors Gene Campanelli and Peter Powell, associate creative directors Will Rushford and Venkat Patla, executive producer Jeremy Fox and producer Lisa Goore.
