AT&T covered its 4G coverage over Halloween with “Whiz Bang”, a television commercial in which the main character blithely walks through his day unaware of the spooky apparitions behind him. As he takes photographs his background is invaded by gargoyles, ghost pirates, zombies a gremlin, a treasure chest and bones, a black cat, mummy, bats, Frankenstein, a werewolf, chalkboard writing, a grim reaper, a UFO and alien, a crazy clown, yeti, witch on a broomstick and more.

The Whiz Bang ad was developed at BBDO New York and BBDO Atlanta, by chief creative officer David Lubars, executive creative directors Heather Gorman and Jeff Spillane, senior creative director Grant Smith, creative directors Peter Albores, Hunter Fine, Stephen McMennamy, associate creative directors Guy Kirkland and Patrick Lindsay, producer Julie Collins, executive music producer Melissa Chester.
