World’s Biggest Pac-Man

Microsoft has partnered with Namco Bandai to launch a browser-based Pac-Man game to promote the Internet Explorer 9 browser. World’s Biggest Pac-Man invites users to create their own maze to add to the “megaboard”. The game was created using HTML5′s Canvas, using Internet Explorer 9′s “built-in hardware acceleration”. The platform was launched at the Microsoft developer event MIX11 in Las Vegas, April 12 – 14. Since then, over 10,000 levels have been created, with 247933948 Pac dots eaten.
