Walt Disney Family Museum

The Walt Disney Family Museum, based at the Presidio in San Francisco, opened in Fall 2009. The museum recently used little known vignettes about Walt Disney’s life to raise the exhibition’s profile and increase visitors. San Francisco agency Hub Strategy, with writer Sam Pond, created a new positioning statement, street pole banners, Muni and cable car sides, and online banners. Walt is shown arriving in Hollywood, riding on his LilyBelle miniature train, and holding Mortimer Mouse, the forerunner to Mickey Mouse.
