Vodafone’s Double Back offer, run in New Zealand between January and February 2011, was given a boost by an appearance by Paul “Bear” Vasquez, creator of the legendary YouTube video Double Rainbow. Vasquez was invited to New Zealand and sent on a journey of doubles discovery. All to encourage consumers to register online, spend more than $10 in February, and claim back double that amount in credit.

The Double campaign was developed at Colenso BBDO Auckland by creative director Levi Slavin, creative team Pete Gosselin and Jay Hunt, agency producer Jen Storey, group account director Cath Bos working with Vodafone marketing team Natalie Sutherland, Suraiya Phillimore-Smith and Rachel Aikin.
