Royal Bank of Canada is a key sponsor of TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival), as is revealed in this set of three television commercials “Helicopter”, “Boom”, and “Screening”. The ads show how handy it is for young filmmakers to have an “uncle in the biz”. Unfortunately, not everyone has such an uncle. “That’s why we support emerging filmmakers”.
The Uncle in the Biz campaign was developed at BBDO, Toronto, by executive creative director Peter Ignazi, senior copywriter Jason Perdue, senior art director Patrick Shing, copywriter Jon Murray, senior producer Beatrice Bodogh, producer Adriana Laborde, managing director Lori Davison, account director Rebecca Flaman.
