German advertising agency Scholz & Friends used their Weru print advertising campaign, developed over seven years, to promote their openings for new creatives. The campaign for Weru soundproof windows, featuring photography by Ralph Baiker, began in 2004 with Gardener winning Grand Prix at the London International Advertising Awards, two Gold Lions at Cannes, as well as awards at the CLIO awards, the One Show, the Art Directors Club. As the years have moved on the number of awards has decreased, indicating that new creative ideas are needed. “Scholz & Friends is looking for creatives. www.s-f.com/career” The Final Weru Ad won a Silver Press Lion at Cannes International Festival of Creativity.
The Final Weru ad was developed at Scholz & Friends, Berlin, by chief creative officer Martin Pross, executive creative director Matthias Spaetgens, creative directors Jan Leube, Michael Winterhagen and art director Wulf Rechtacek.
