Subaru’s Baby Driver commercial, first aired in August 2010, has been nominated for Most Outstanding Commercial at the Emmy Awards being held on September 18, 2011. A parent is having one of those moments in life that you never look forward to. The day your baby is going to borrow the car and drive off without you. We watch the moment unfold with a dad giving a few last pointers to his daughter as she drives off in his Subaru Legacy.

The Baby Driver ad was developed at Carmichael Lynch, Minneapolis, by chief creative officer/copywriter Jim Nelson, group creative director/art director Randy Hughes, executive producer Bryan Hausmann and account leader Tom Maczuga, integrated producer Joe Grundhoefer.
Filming was shot by director Jake Scott via RSA Films, Los Angeles, with director of photography Chris Soos, line producer Pat Frazier, executive producer Tracie Norfleet, assistant director Howell Caldwell, production supervisor Sparky Pomeroy.
VFX were produced at Volt Studios by online editor and VFX supervisor Steve Medin, VFX assistant Sarah Thomas and VFX artist Randy Gackstetter.
Music was composed by James Coombs, Los Angeles. Sound design and voiceover were produced at Brahmstedt White Noise by supervisor Anne Litt and producer/mixer Carl White.
