Stihl is running an integrated advertising campaign encouraging families and friends to spend more time in their backyards, timed with the onset of spring and summer. A television commercial at the heart of the campaign uses pixelated versions of pet care, gardening and conversation to draw attention to the amount of time people are spending inside on digital versions of real life. The commercial ends with the message “Get Real. Get Outside”.

The Get Real ad was developed at Whybin/TBWA Sydney, by executive creative director Matty Burton, Dave Bowman, Paul Reardon, digital creative director Russ Tucker, senior copywriter Dean Hamilton, senior art director Hannes Ciatti, producers Margot Ger and Jo Allach, account director Laurelle Esse and Alana Cobbledick, digital account director Jeremy Smart, strategic planner James Needham.
