Specsavers is running “Koala”, a television commercial promoting the brand’s deals on contact lenses. A woman reading a Specsavers newspaper ad in a park is surprised by the appearance of a curious koala (created entirely in CGI). They struggle briefly over the newspaper before the koala gets to reads the Specsavers’ offer for itself. Why the koala? Koalas have poor eyesight.

The Koala spot was developed at Specsavers Creative by creative director Graham Daldry, copywriter Richard James, art directors Mark de la Rue and Mike Hutchinson, and agency producer Sam Lock.
Editor was Matt Chodan at The Assembly Rooms, London.
