Sony Ericsson has launched a series of challenges designed to show off the brightness of its Xperia handsets’ screens, online at sonyericsson.com/challenge-xperia, along with the interactive app Challenge the City, The challenge is being promoted with five web films, showcasing the phone’s mobile Bravia engine. In “Challenge Greenhouse” the XPeria Arc’s screen is used to make a flower bloom. In “Challenge the Driver” a stunt driver’s windscreen is replaced with two XPeria Arc screens. In “Challenge the Fast Lane” two skateboarders with specially designed headsets try cruising down the streets of a bustling city and a steep coast road with only the Xperia Smartphone screen to see by. Two more films to come, including “Challenge the Brilliance”.

The Challenge campaign was developed at McCann Erickson, Munich, by creative directors Stefan Hempel and Michael Utta, art director David Morales, copywriter Philipp Gloyer.
