Sony Cameras in India and Thailand
Sony has released two new television commercials featuring the HandyCam Camcorder Built in Projector, and the Cyber-shot camera with its ability to be used in dark conditions. “Family Vacation”, shot in India, shows a growing crowd following a family as they take photos and film on their HandyCam. “Take Control”, shot in Bangkok, Thailand, shows a photographer using his DSCHX9V Cyber-shot camera to light up the city around him.

The DI campaign was developed at 180 LA by executive creative director William Gelner, creative director Gavin Lester, copywriter Zac Ryder, art director Adam Groves, head of production Peter Cline, producer Mary Ellen Dugan, group account director Kelli Stam, account director Go Wakimoto and planner Brit Browning.
Filming was shot by director Christopher Riggert via Biscuit Filmworks with managing director Shawn Lacy, executive producer Holly Vega, line producer Scott Kaplan and director of photography Tim Hudson.
Family Vacation was shot in Mumbai, Pune and Nashik, India, with producer Avinash at Stratum Films. Take Control was shot in Bangkok, Thailand, with producer Suthida Sukumalanand at Big Blue Production.
Editors were Paul Martinez (Family Vacation) and Stewart Reeves (Take Control) at Arcade Edit with executive producer Deanne Mehling, producer Ali Reed and assistant editor Andrew Leggett.
Post production was done at The Moving Picture Company (MPC), Los Angeles, by colorist Mark Gethin, VFX supervisor/Henry/Flame artist Jake Montgomery, executive producer Andrew Bell, head of production Jenny Bright.
Sound for Family Vacation was produced at Eleven Sound by mixer Jeff Payne, assistant mixer Ben Freer, executive producer DJ Fox. Sound for Take Control was produced at Juice by mixer Bob Gremore, assistant mixer Chris Zavala and executive producer Natalie Pranevsky.
Music was produced at Human Worldwide.
