Renault is promoting the Renault Koleos with a global advertising campaign, Meerkats. The high-brow Renault 4×4 Koleos appears in the wilds of Safrica, inspiring a formal and classy response from the local meerkats. Initially we observe them in their natural habitat play-fighting, picking fleas, lazing around in an unflattering manner. When they hear the Koleos approaching they head off to change into their tuxedos, appearing again in a civilized and genteel fashion, chins up, chest out, arms down.

The Meerkats ad was developed at Publicis Conseil, Paris, by executive creative director Olivier Altman, creative director Marcelo Vergara, agency executive producer Pierre Marcus (WAM), and agency producer Nathalie Levincent.
Filming was shot by director Nick Losq, Black Swan, Los Angeles, via Carnibird, Paris, with executive producer Sam Fontaine. Post production was done by a team of twelve CG artists at Mathématic, Paris.
