The Prison Reform Trust in the UK is running a cross-platform advertising campaign aimed at raising awareness of ‘Out of Trouble’, the initiative focussed on reducing the number of children and young people imprisoned in the UK. A print campaign features an image of Sam, an imprisoned child, with the strapline “Take kids out of the picture”. An interactive digital campaign highlights the need for public support. With each email registered at outoftrouble.org.uk in support of the campaign a pixel of the child in the image disappears, eventually leading to the child having been entirely taken out of the picture (leaving an empty prison cell).
