British teleco Orange’ is promoting the new Film To Go incentive with “Popcorn”, a television commercial in which Orange customers settling down to watch a movie have their viewing environments (living rooms, bedrooms, buses, camping ground…), inundated with movie-goers snack food. Orange subscribers can download a film through iTunes every Thursday. A dedicated microsite, filmtogo.orange.co.uk hosts ‘Film Night Live’, a 30-minute hosted online event featuring interviews, clips, contests and teaser trailers as a lead up tot he week’s free film download, all drawn together on various social channels.
The Popcorn ad was developed at Fallon London by executive creative director Santiago Lucero, creative director Gui Borchert, copywriter Laura Visco, art director Mariano Cassisi, group account director Katrien DeBauw, account director Emily Kortlang, account manager Sam Bloch, agency planners Gareth Goodall and Holly Clancey, agency producer Tracy Stokes.
