Indian teleco Onida promoted its new voice dialling service on the new 121 mobile phone with a print advertising campaign featuring miniature art by three Mumbai illustrators. Each advertisement features a man in trouble who for various reasons is unable to use his hands. A man hanging from a tree above a tiger in the jungle uses his tongue to call his horse. A man tied up by thugs in the city uses his tongue to call the cops. A man trying to handle a giant octopus uses his tongue to call the coast guard. The campaign won a Silver Press Lion at Cannes International Festival of Creativity.
The Voice Dialling campaign was developed at Mccann Erickson, Mumbai, by chief creative officer/executive creative director Prasoon Joshi, creative directors Rahul Mathew, Akshay Kapnadak, Talha Bin Mohsin, Mahesh Parab, art directors Mahesh Parab, Mukesh Jadhav, Nitin Sawant, copywriters Talha Bin Mohsin, Vilsen Gonsalves, Mithila Desai, Sreenath Pillai, account managers Parvathy Nair, Dhanwinder Singh, illustrators Nishikant Palande, Jayavant Tambare, Nilesh Kore and Mukesh Jadhav.
