Nokia promoted the new Lumia 800 smartphone in London on November 28 with Nokia Lumia Live, a light show on the Millbank Tower on the banks of River Thames. Each of the 120 metre high building’s 800 windows were covered with vinyl as 16 powerful projectors, stationed 300 metres away on the other side of the river, beamed 4D images onto the structure, making it seem like huge butterflies were flying across the London skyline and that the tower was spinning around. Billed as the “future of live events” the spectacular show was accompanied by music DJ TEED and producer deadmau5 who created exclusive remixes for the performance. The event was broadcast live online to the Nokia UK Facebook page
