Nike Rugby Projections

Nike sponsorship of the XV de France, the French rugby team, in the 2007 Rugby World Cup was championed in “Projections”, a television commercial seeped in suspense. The ad takes us into the French dressing rooms before a big game, where French players are surrounded by the projections of Nike-sponsored athletes from other disciplines.

The Projections ad was developed at DDB, Paris, by creative directors Alexandre Herve, Sylvain Thirache, art director Faustin Claverie, copywriter Fabien Teichner, agency producer Julie Mathiot, account supervisors Thomas Granger, Paul Ducré and Fabien Donnay, advertiser’s supervisor Thomas Fabre.

Filming was shot by director Sean Ellis via Psycho at Première Heure, Paris.
