Mr Lube, the Canadian oil change and car maintenance chain, has released “Dear John”, a new television commercial contrasting their straight forward service with the over-personalised approach of car dealers. “Dear John” is a classic girl-meets-guy, girl-buys-car-from-guy, girl-ditches-guy-for-Mr.-Lube-because-guy-is-too-clingy-and-demanding. Also a bit too hairy.
