Mario and Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games

Sega is promoting “Mario and Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games”, a set of games for Wii and Nintendo 3DS, with a television commercials with two endings set in the UK. The advertising campaign announces the new games and celebrates a wide range of Olympic events that fans can enjoy with Mario, Sonic and many other colorful characters from both franchises. The spot places the two characters in a royal dining room, paying homage to the host country, while playfully positioning the new game as a must-have title for family fun this holiday season. The humorous touch is designed to appeal to the younger generation of fans, while bringing in a few special treats especially for the die-hard Mario & Sonic fans from decades past.
