Online bingo site Jackpotjoy.com is running a series of television commercials supporting Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day. Barbara Windsor returns to the screen as the ‘Queen of Bingo’ to encourage people to play specially created Red Nose Day games on Jackpotjoy.com, with all funds raised going to Comic Relief. Barbara Windsor is filmed at home baking up surprises for a range of celebrity callers; including her Carry On co-star Leslie Phillips and old Eastenders enemy Larry Lamb. New celebrities will be revealed in different ads leading up to Red Nose Day on 18 March. With cake, cream, strawberries and sponge, it’s sure to be messy!

Garry Lace, Founding Partner, (Beta) said: “Jackpotjoy being the official gaming partner for Comic Relief was too good an opportunity not to put something on TV. We thought it would be great to get Queen Babs in a real life situation doing something funny for money and hope it encourages others to do the same.”
The Jackpot Joy Comic Relief campaign was developed at (Beta), London, by art director Michael Pannese, copywriter Stephen Tarr and agency producer Mike Griffin.
Filming was shot by director Paul Weiland via Weilands with producer Ivana Bohuslavova and director of photography Henry Braham. Editor was Suzy Davis at Final Cut. Post production was done at The Moving Picture Company.
Sound was produced at Grand Central Studios. Music is “Montmartre” by Roger Renaud, from the album “Kitsch Nuggets”.
