Lametayel is an outdoor and camping store chain in Israel, known for its innovative marketing campaigns. Lametayel recently used “dead people” to launch a sales campaign for a new production line, “Smart Fashion”, an advanced nano tech fiber clothing line that screens out the sun, resists mosquitoes and evaporates sweat. Floor stickers, with full scale people, were laid on the floors of air conditioned shopping centre, with the words, ‘The sun is killing me”, and “The mosquitoes are killing me”. The campaign led to a 350 % increase in sales over ten days.
