Hulu Back To The Future

Hulu has chosen April 1 to explore the broadcast world of the past, with a refit of its site taking customers back to 1996, a time of grainy photos, dial-up modems, website counters, and basic text. Photos slowly load to reveal promos of the X-Files Chinatown episode, Murder One, NewsRadio and Sliders. Web design features of the 1990s are featured, including a neon page counter, an invitation to sign a guestbook, references to Netscape Navigator, Internet Explorer and Geocities. To reach the usual offering visitors are invited to click on the link, “Take Me Back to the Future”.

One Response to Hulu Back To The Future

I actually saw this when I went to watch The Office on Hulu and thought it was hilarious. It was a great concept that took Hulu users back to the dinosaur age of the I
nternet. It showed just how far the Internet has come and all that Hulu has to offer.
