Colonel Muammar Gaddafi appeared in a print advertising series developed for United Arab Emirates based newspaper Gulf News by creative director/copywriter Derek Mullings and art director Priti Shah. The newspaper, published by Al Nisr Publishing, was provided with the tag line, “Perspective. Irrespective”, and images of three Middle East leaders dealing with unrest in the news. Colonel Gaddafi in Libya, Hosni Mubarak in Egypt, and King Fahd in Saudi Arabia are shown clearly unhappy with the Gulf News coverage.
