Fairtrade, the global movement, is linking consumers directly to their ‘Fair Story’ through an interactive film using Facebook connectivity. The 90 second film, online www.fairstory.com, uses live action and stop frame animation to introduce viewers to the concept of fair trade justice through the eyes of a Kenyan child. Visitors to the site can choose to have their own profile picture inserted into the video, using images and text retrieved via Facebook Connect.

The Fair Story ad was developed at Generation Alliance, Sydney, by executive creative director Nick Morgan, copywriter David Faulks, creative director Jacqueline Morony and agency producer Kate Aitken.
Filming was shot by director Jeff Wood via The Sweet Shop, London, with producer Andrew Levene, production designer Tom Wales and prop stylist Stef Grieve.
Digital production was done at The Rumpus Room by creative technical director Tom Roope, executive producer Steve Wyles, interactive producer Thomas Alisi, lead backend developer Craig Rogers, lead frontend developer Judit Greskovits.
Editor was John Mayes at Marshall Street Editors. Post production was done at The Moving Picture Company (MPC), London, by producer Leianna Campbell, VFX supervisor Bruno Fukumothi, VFX team Russell Etheridge, Dave Haupt, David Ince, Bruno Fukumothi, and colourist Jean-Clement Soret.
Music was produced at Human Worldwide, London.
