British artist, designer and musicican Keaton Henson has released a music video for his track, “Charon”, featuring a gradual unraveling of emotion that shows the lead character (played by a puppet) sliding towards his final surrender. Keaton’s work as an established designer and illustrator was the jumping off point for the film, the style and tone of which evolved out of the dual worlds he has created through his music and art.
“Charon” music video was shot by director/producer David Wilson via Colonel Blimp with directors Keaton Henson and John Malcolm Moore, production assistant Beatrice Warren, director of photography Brian Fawcett, camera assistants David Agha-Rafei, Roland Philips, jib operator Stefan Zambinski, puppeteer Jonny Sabbagh, runners Jimmy Patrick, Jessie May Peters and editor Nikki Porter at Final Cut. Colorist was James Bamford at The Mill. Sound was designed by Joe Henson.
