Burger King Unwraps Fresh Food
Burger King is unwrapping its new advertising campaign and refreshed marketing image, created to appeal to a broader audience, with the first in a series of advertisements produced by its new agency mcgarrybowen. The spot features the latest item on the Burger King menu, the California Whopper sandwich. The campaign marks a new focus on fresh food, with a move away from the light hearted and quirky antics of the King mascot figure developed by Crispin Porter & Bogusky.
The first ad in the campaign highlights the refreshing quality of the California Whopper by taking an up-close and personal look at each of its ingredients. Vewers are treated to the heightened flavor combinations of fresh avocados, ripe tomatoes, sliced onions, and cool, crispy lettuce offset by hot, fire-grilled beef.
