Ben & Jerry’s Flavour Election
Ben & Jerry’s, the ice cream brand established in the USA by Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield, is running an Australian Flavour Election, asking Australian ice cream fanatics to vote for their preferred Ben & Jerry’s flavour. Eight flavour election campaign leaders (one for each flavour that is sold in shops) have been selected to lead the race for eight flavours: Vanilla, Half Baked, Phish Food, Triple Caramel Chunk, Chunkey Monkey, Strawberry Cheesecake, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, and Chocolate Fudge Brownie. Australian readers can enter the competition to get ice cream delivered to to their office on Fridays until the end of the campaign on Tuesday 12 April. One lucky, clever articulate person will be chosen to receive a year’s supply of the ice cream. The campaign is online at flavourelection.com.au and Ben & Jerry’s Australia Facebook page.

Free Cone Day
Ben & Jerry’s are also hosting their annual Free Cone Day on April 12th where people can go to the Ben & Jerry’s scoop shops to get free ice cream. There are four shops in Australia, in Manly, Broadway (Sydney), Oxenford (Gold Coast) and Chadstone (Melbourne).
The campaign is being run by Unilever to promote awareness of the Ben & Jerry’s brand in Australia.
