BBC Local Radio Show Your Love

BBC Local Radio encourage viewers to love their local radio stations with “Show Your Love”, a television commercial centred on Unchained Melody, sung a capella by The Fleetwoods. The spot won a silver for cinematography and a bronze for best use of music at the 2010 Clio awards, and a Gold for best use of music at the London International Awards. The tranquil spot shows evocative and serene images of various individuals around the UK ‘showing their love’ by hugging random objects and landmarks whilst the chaos of everyday life around them continues. The full 90 second ad includes everything from a railway worker hugging a pillar on the platform; a boy hugging a letterbox; a man on the roof of a zoo; to a little girl on a glass rooftop.”If you love where you live, be part of it”.
