ASICS is running an integrated advertising campaign with the tag line, “Sport Releases More Than Just Sweat”. The act of running is presented as a way to cleanse the mind and body of pollutants such as stress, insecurity or pent up aggression. The campaign integrates the founding philosophy and acronym for the ASICS brand name, “Anima Sana in Corpore Sano,” which is Latin for ” A Sound Mind, in a Sound Body.”

The Sound Mind Sound Body campaign was developed at Vitro, San Diego, by executive creative director John Vitro, creative directors Mike Brower and Kent Thayer, associate creative director/art director Alan David Reyes, associate creative director/copywriter Elliot Allen, art director Luke Lukens, account director Michael Catanzaro and account supervisor Danielle Chalin, agency producer Mickey Strider.
