American Tourister is being promoted in India as the ideal four wheel luggage in “Survive the World”, a television commercial featuring a tourist in a hurry. Caught in a traffic jam, the tourist throws on his roller blades and tows is luggage through the busy streets. The new commercial follows on from two commercials, “Mumbai”, and “Istanbul”, released in 2010.

The Survive The World campaign was developed at Contract Advertising, Mumbai, by creative team Ravi Deshpande, Malobi Dasgupta, agency producer Ketaki Guhagarkar, account team Shivaji Dasgupta and Devang Buddhadev.
Filming was shot by director Jeff Balsmeyer via Far Commercials with producers Jeet Surendranath and Rohini Pinto. Post production was done at Pixion, Mumbai, by post manager Nadeem Mirza, colorist Prashant and offline editor Tushar Kewlani. Online editor was Ravi Sharma at Prime Focus.
Music was composed, arranged and produced by Ashutosh Pathak and produced at Blue Frog, Mumbai.
