Visa’s sponsorship of the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games is celebrated with “Jamaican Bobsled”, a television commercial focused on the feelings associated with participation. The 1988 Jamaican Bobsled Team featured in the ad competed in the 1988 Winter Olympic Games in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The team crashed during one of their runs but got out and walked to the finish line. “Competing in the Olympic Winter Games isn’t about conquering the world. It’s about heart.” The video is tied to the Visa Go World site at facebook.com/VisaGoWorld.
