Travelers Take The Scary Out of Life with Animals

Travelers Insurance is using animal magic to promote its offer of assurance of well being in “Rattlesnake” and “Watering Hole”. The television advertising campaign, launched in June 2010, uses footage shot in South Africa, with CGI assets modeled in London, animated in Los Angeles, with fur lighting in Vancouver and final compositing in Los Angeles. Waterhole” features baboons, lions, zebras, crocodiles, vultures and all sorts of other animals getting along famously at what would normally be a very dangerous watering hole. “Rattlesnake” introduces us to a rabbit who unwittingly stumbles across a menacing rattlesnake. The rattlesnake loses all credibility, however, when we see that it’s had a bogus repair job done on its rattle.
