Stihl’s “Autumn Calendar” has won Gold for Euro RSCG Dusseldorf at the Golden Drum awards, held this month in Portorož, Slovenia. STIHL asked the the agency to develop a business gift promoting their product range of leaf blowers, to be given to 3000 international key accounts such as municipalities of major cities. The agency invented a calender that automatically tears off its leaves, daily demonstrating the need for leaf blowers. The Stihl Fall Calendar stretches from September 23 to December 21, 2010, covering the season of autumn in the northern hemisphere.
Euro RSCG promoted the Autumn Calendar concept in March 2010, with a video showing an employee posting a patent application to The Deutsches Patent- und Markenamt (DPMA) or German Patent and Trade Mark Office (GPTO). Click on the image below to play the video in YouTube (HD)
The Autumn Calendar project was developed at Euro RSCG Dusseldorf and Munich by creative directors Felix Glauner and Torsten Pollmann, art directors Martin Staubach, Kai Tusar and Eva Schramm, project managers Marcus Kotarba, Daniel Grube, copywriters Christoph Mueller, Till Koester and Isabell Wilbert, graphic designers Detlef Stuhldreier and Uwe Strahl.
