Skittles Hourglass

Skittles Hourglass, a quirky television commercial for chocolate sweets, won a Bronze Lion at Cannes International Advertising Festival 2010. Paul’s sneaky actions of delving into his roommate’s hourglass of Skittles proves to have vital consequences. In typical unpredictable Skittles fashion, the line between real and imaginary is blurred through the endless possibilities of experiencing the rainbow.

The Hourglass ad was developed at TBWA\CHIAT\DAY New York, by chief creative officer Mark Figliulo, creative director RobBaird, art director Lacey Waterman, copywriter Tim Wassler, agency producer Winslow Dennis, executive producer of media arts Matt Bijarchi, account manager Ritu Sharma, account supervisor Kelsey Robertson, director of broadcast production Ozzie Spenningsby.

Filming was shot by Randy Krallman via Smuggler, Los Angeles, with producer Cory Berg, executive producer Patrick Milling Smith, Brian Carmody, Lisa Rich and Allison Kunzman.

Editor was Lawrence at Cosmo Street with executive producer Amy Febinger. Sound was designed at Sound Lounge by mixed Philip Loeb. Music was produced at Human Worldwide.

Post production was done at Framestore by senior Flame artist Raul Ortego and senior VFX producer Laney Gradus. Colorist was Tim Masick at Company 3.
