Red Cross at Vancouver 2010 Opening

Canadian Red Cross is using the Opening Ceremonies of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games to thank Canadians for supporting the people of Haiti following the devastating earthquake that ravaged the country on January 12, 2010. An animated television commercial, broadcast only during the opening day of the Games, asks Canadians to continue to support Red Cross relief efforts in Haiti. Thanks in part to the generosity of Canadians, over the past month, the Red Cross has carried out the most significant emergency mobilization in a single country in its history.
