Nike Tulio Twitter Statue

Nike Japan has launched a global ‘Write the future’ campaign for the FIFA World Cup 2010 starring iconic Brazilian-Japanese footballer Marcus Tulio Tanaka, online at Nike Japan’s Football website nike.jp/football/future. Nike invites members of the public to submit their comments in support of the Japan team at the FIFA World Cup 2010 in South Africa. The best messages are being carved on a life-size statue of Tanaka placed at Nike’s Harajuku store. Four cameras have been set up to capture when a winning message is carved on the statue.

Translated synopsis:
I am Japanese.
Everything starts now.
The world will take notice and doubt will be erased.
I am a defender that will attack in a split second.
Prayers will be answered.
One moment will last for eternity.
One game.
One play.
And everything will change.
Marcus Tulio Tanaka
