McCain, the British potato company, has launched a TV advertising campaign, Pride, dramatising the pride that runs through British families, McCain and its products. The TV advert features heart-warming and amusing examples of proud family moments and concludes with framed pictures of McCain products proudly hanging on the wall, just like family photos at home. The advert ends with the line “If it matters to families it matters to us”. A new consumer website, www.mccainitsallgood.co.uk, launches on 14th September to coincide with the new advertising campaign. The website will encourage consumer engagement through games, interactive recipes and coupons. Consumers can sign up to collect “spud shillings” each time they visit the site. These can be redeemed for rewards, encouraging them to return regularly.
