Mastercard Eclipse of the Heart for Neville

MasterCard UK has brought Bonnie Tyler and her song Total Eclipse of the Heart back from the 1980s with a TV advert, Places Everyone. Neville, an everyday shopper, emerges from a supermarket to find Bonnie Tyler descending from the skies to provide a special rendition of Total Eclipse of the Heart. Her lyrics provide a commentary for the appearance of a rocket-powered guitarist, a line of mini Bonnie Tylers, a thirty foot gold plated statue of Neville mounted on a marble plinth, a helicopter fly-by showering Neville with silk petals, a helmet-wearing dog driving a pedal car, pyrotechnics, and banners falling from buildings. It’s an over the top message of thanks from Mastercard.
