Land Rover drivers experience a feeling of safety that drivers of other vehicles don’t. That’s the claim presented in the “You’ll feel safe inside campaign.” Two commercials, “Cat Sitter” and “Sword Collection”, humorously demonstrate the sense of confidence drivers feel when they are inside an LR4 Land Rover. The campaign won a silver Film Craft Lion for copywriting at Cannes International Advertising Festival 2010.
The Safer Inside campaign was developed at Y&R New York by executive creative directors Scott Vitrone and Ian Reichental, creative directors Guillermo Verga, Icaro Doria and Dan Morales, copywriter Brandon Henderson, art director Dan Treichel, agency producers Lora Schulson and Nathy Aviram, account managers Thomas Steadman, Jennifer Motterhead and Keith Rhodes.
Filming was shot by director Jim Jenkins via O Positive Films, New York, with producers Marc Grill, Toni Lipari and Devon Clark. Editor was Jason Macdonald at Number Six Edit. Sound was designed by Bill Chesley at Henry Boy.
