Honda’s annual clearance sale in the United States has been promoted over the last six years by television commercials featuring Mr Opportunity. The animated character, designed at Laika/House and voiced by Rob Paulsen, has turned up this year in the opera house, with a tenor voice provided by Jonathan Mack. During this time of year, consumers are inundated by automotive clearance advertising. The average consumer has been conditioned to dismiss advertised offers.
