Google Project 10 100 Winners Announced
Google has announced the winners of Google’s Project 10100, after 150,000 ideas from more than 170 countries were narrowed down to 16 final ideas for public vote. Five organisations who have tackled the most popular ideas will receive a total of $10 million from Google: the Khan Academy for free online educational content, FIRST for student-driven robotics team fundraising programs, Public.Resource.Org for Law.Gov initiative in the USA, Schweeb for testdriving human-powered vehicles on a monorail, and The African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) for graduate level math and science study in Africa.
