Garnier Fructis Fighting Flakes the Better Way

Garnier Fructis anti-dandruff shampoo is being presented to guys as the better way to deal with flakes in this set of television commercials directed by Brian Lee Hughes. Five scenarios, “Leafblower”, “Butler”, “Office”, “Dustbuster” and “Monkey (Longform) are associated with an online portal, theresabetterway.com. If you’re an unfortunate dandruff sufferer with flakes the size of Autumn leaves, then a leaf blower might be a good solution. If your condition isn’t that extreme, then that thing blows.

Butlers are perfect for greeting visitors, preparing midnight snacks and being prime murder suspects. Unfortunately, they’re not that good at fighting flakes.

The music used in the “party”, “office” and “monkey(longform)” – is there a way to find out more about this song? Was it made especially for this commercial, or is it, as stated on answers.com, “evolve” by The Dots? I found a myspace page for an indie bands called “Döts”, but with no song of the name “evolve” – or any links to buy their songs, for that matter.

The “Evolve” song is by the Non-Commissioned Officers out of Nashville, TN. I know because I am in the band. The song is in the process of being put on iTunes (legal red-tape issues are keeping the song from being distributed right now) and will also be available from the website http://www.thenoncommissionedofficers.com within the next month or so.

    Thanks for your interest!
