Ford recently ran a prelaunch campaign for the Kinetic Design Ford Fiesta in Argentina with one car test driven by a twittering networker. Nacho Bottinelli, with just over 100,000 followers, was given the wheel of the new car for five days, with his experiences reported in real time on Twitter, using the hashtag #nuevofiesta. Nacho’s videocast, including interviews with well known media personalities, was made available on the NuevoFordFiesta Facebook page and YouTube channel.
