Dr Pepper has brought back Gene Simmons for a second appearance as “Dr Love”, in spot airing during the 2010 Super Bowl. The spot promotes the brand’s Dr Pepper Cherry line extension, which launched in March 2009. Simmons’ line, “Trust Me, I’m a Doctor”, is enhanced by the appearance of Paul Stanley and other members of Kiss, who focus on the kiss of cherry flavour. The Dr Pepper brand is being promoted online at www.drpepper.com, Facebook and Twitter.
