Commonwealth Property Guide

The Commonwealth Bank is promoting its Property Guide iPhone application with a television commercial showing off its augmented reality capacity. The Property Guide app helps users retrieve past sales history, current property listings and recent sales, mapped on to a real world view through the iPhone’s camera on more than 95 per cent of residential properties in Australia. The app is supported by data from realestate.com.au and RP Data.

If you actually use this app its useless and doesn’t work.

You also have to PAY for the RP DATA feed. Also when I checked out my next door neighbors house, you guess it nothing came up and didn’t work. No previous sales history and very clunky and useless navigation.

Hate to say this but this is very bad design, unfriendly use of intuitive iphone navigation and simply poor execution of creative work.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD AS YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTING. THE ADVERT OVER SELL SOMETHINGS THAT ITS NOT ABLE TO DO.
