Coca Cola Snowball Fight in Winter Olympics Village
Coca Cola is running a television commercial featuring a snow ball fight in the Whistler Athletes Village at the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics. “Snowball” shows how Coke can spark spontaneity and fun as people come together and engage in a high-energy game. The fight begins in as a Canadian has his Coke knocked out of his hand by falling snow. His team mate sends a snowball flying towards Swedish team, starting a good natured conflict that brings in France, Russia, USA, Japan, South Korea and Jamaica. In the meantime the original athlete makes his way towards the Coca Cola happiness machine…

The Coca Cola Snowball Fight ad was developed at Wieden & Kennedy by executive creative directors Mark Fitzloff and Susan Hoffman, creative directors Hal Curtis and Sheena Brady, copywriter Dylan Lee, art directors Patty Fogarty and Lee Jennings, agency producer Ben Grylewicz and producer Jessica Staples.
Filming was shot in the South Island, New Zealand, by director Steve Ayson via Smuggler and Batch Film New Zealand with executive producers Brian Carmody and Allison Kunzman, director of photography Andrew Lesnie and producer Kati Haberstock.
VFX were produced at Animal Logic by producer Madison Dawe.
Music was produced at Squeak E Clean Productions by composers Brent Nichols and Kelley Logsdon and producer Zach Sinick.
