Chevrolet Duramax and Allison
Chevrolet is promoting the 2011 Silverado in Duramax and Allison, an integrated advertising campaign featuring comedians Patrick Warburton and Craig Robinson. Warburton and Robinson appear as human versions of the truck’s signature Duramax diesel engine and Allison transmission. Online at maxandal.com the two actors poke fun at Ford’s F-250 power stroke diesel engine in commercials, an iPhone app, an online game, Facebook page, YouTube channel and Twitter feed.

Ever find yourself in that conversation about other trucks and you need a second opinion? Well, as great as it would be to have Max and Al right there to back you up, they just can’t be everywhere at once. Until now. With Max & Al’s “Truck Smack” iPhone® app, you’ll not only have a couple of smack-talking wingmen, but you’ll have the technical knowledge to prove it. Anytime, anywhere. If anyone can set your buddies straight with the facts, it’s Max and Al.
Want to see just how hard Max and Al work? Check out “Heavy-Duty.” Load up on objects big and small and drop them off at your checkpoints before time runs out. Track your scores and total points, unlock achievements and post your accomplishments to your Facebook® page. Play in two different environments: the Construction Site or the Mountain Cabin.
You tried your best to steer your friend the right way, but they just wouldn’t listen. It takes a big person to agree to disagree, so make the mature move and send your friend a congratulatory eCard on their new Power Stroke.® It features a special lullaby sung by Duramax and Allison to welcome their new bundle of joy. Don’t have any Ford friends? That’s understandable, but you can still send a Silverado “20-Billionth Mile” Anniversary Card — featuring an exclusive Max & Al audio clip — to any of your friends.
The Duramax and Allison campaign was developed at Campbell-Ewald.
