Call of Duty Black Ops Soldier in All of Us

Treyarch and Activision have launched a television commercial to build anticipation in the lead up to the release of Call of Duty Black Ops, coming out in stores on November 9. “There’s a Soldier in All of Us” shows businesswomen, construction workers, line cooks and hotel concierges battling it out, alongside professional basketball player Kobe Mamba Bryant and late night talk show host Jimmy Proud n00b Kimmel.

The Soldier in All of Us ad was developed at TBWA/Chiat/Day, Los Angeles, by chief creative officer Rob Schwartz, group creative director Brett Craig, creative directors Brett Craig and Olivier Rabenschlag, associate creative directors Blake Kidder and Patrick Almaguer, executive producer Anh-Thu Le, art director Chase Madrid, copywriter Chris DeNinno, producer Stanton Hill.

Filming was shot by director Rupert Sanders via MJZ with executive producers David Zander and Eric Stern, producer Laurie Boccaccio, director of photography Greig Fraser, production designer Dominic Watkins, costume designer Nancy Steiner.

Visual effects were produced at Asylum FX by VFX supervisor/lead compositor Jason Hicks, VFX executive producer Michael Pardee and post producer Ryan Meredith. Editor was Neil Smith at Spot Welders with producer Carolina Wallace.

Music is “Gimme Shelter” by The Rolling Stones.
